The invention relates to an electrophoretic display, comprising electrodes and cells containing at least one kind of ionic, monochrome particles, a non-polar liquid and a dispersant, wherein the ionic, monochrome particles of at least one kind are essentially aggregates consisting of a carbon containing pigment and an anionic pigment or anionic pigment derivative, and the dispersant is selected from the group consisting of polyacrylates, polyesters, polyurethanes and copolymers. In general, the whole quantity of the pigment and the main part, preferably at least 80%, most preferred from 95% to 100%, of the whole anionic pigment or anionic pigment derivative present within the cells is comprised in the aggregates, with essentially no pigment and only a minor part of the anionic pigment or anionic pigment derivative physically distinct from the aggregates.
L'invention concerne un affichage électrophorétique, comprenant des électrodes et des cellules contenant au moins un type de particules ioniques monochromes, un liquide non polaire et un dispersant, caractérisé en ce que les particules ioniques monochromes d'au moins un type sont principalement des agrégats consistant en un carbone contenant un pigment et un pigment anionique ou un dérivé de pigment anionique, et le dispersant est sélectionné parmi le groupe consistant en polyacrylates, polyesters, polyuréthanes et copolymères. En général, toute la quantité du pigment et de la partie principale, de préférence au moins 80%, idéalement de 95% à 100%, de tout le pigment anionique ou du dérivé de pigment anionique présent dans les cellules est comprise dans les agrégats, principalement sans pigment et seulement une partie mineure du pigment anionique ou du dérivé de pigment anionique étant physiquement distincte des agrégats.
