TITLE OF THE INVENTION ENCLOSURE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE ENCLOSURE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An enclosure such as a letter envelope, a casing, shipping pouch, file folder, or the like, is made of paper or similar suitable material to have a front portion (3) and a back portion (4) as well as side flaps (6) and (7). The enclosure may be provided with a closure flap (23) that is either part of the front portion (3) or part of the back portion (4). A bottom portion (5) is ar- ranged between the back portion (4) and the front portion (3), whereby the bottom portion is preferably an integral component of the front and back portions. The side flaps (6, 7) are pro- vided with respective folding creases extending longitudinally and foldable bottom side tongues (18, 19) are provided at the bottom end of the side flap (6, 7). These basic features are common to a plurality of different enclosures which provide a substantially larger enclosed volume than heretofore. 2751/ar
