An enclosure (1) for conduction-cooled hardware comprises a frame of corner pieces (2) and intermediate linking pieces (3). The corner pieces (2) (and maybe the pieces (3)) are formed by casting and machining. Panels are added to this frame to complete the enclosure (1). The corner pieces (2) have projecting portions that project through a significant distance. A range of different-sized linking pieces is provided so that different-sized enclosures can be assembled.

Enceinte (1) pour matériel refroidi par conduction, comprenant un cadre formé de pièces d'équerre (2) et de pièces de jonction intermédiaire (3). Les pièces d'équerre (2) (et, éventuellement, les pièces (3)) sont moulées et usinées. Des panneaux sont ajoutés à ce cadre pour compléter l'enceinte (1). Les pièces d'équerre (2) présentent des portions en saillie émergeant d'une distance importante. On dispose d'une série de pièces de jonction de dimensions différentes de manière à pouvoir réaliser le montage d'enceintes de tailles différentes.
