A B S T R A C T In the construction of a building wall comprised of masonry units it is common to use special units to form door and window jambs, corners and pilasters. In this invention a single design end piece is utilised in conjunction with a standard masonry unit to serve a number of purposes. These include the creation of a square end at door and window jambs, at wall corners and at pilasters. In addition the end piece closes the end of blocks that may include exposed insulation material. The end piece also completes a standard block to co-ordinate the running laying length module for blocks of various thicknesses at corners and pilasters. Page 1
