The use of FDA acceptable rubbers has been known for years. This endless belt is for use on meat deboning equipment where the well known endless belts in use are modified by applying a fiber reinforced layer to the belt to improve the belts' life and yield of deboned meat. This belt allows easy cleaning of the belt and equipment. A conventional FDA acceptable deboning belt, such as a woven fabric, e.g. nylon rubberized with a rubber compounded with FDA acceptable materials is modified by applying during manufacturing a special cover stock. This special cover stock is a blend of a polyaramid pulp or very short fibers of a polyaramid with polychloroprene to give a blend of about 2 to about 8 percent by weight of polyaramid.
