Disclosed are: a novel endoglucanase PPCE which is derived from Penicillium pinophilum; a cellulase preparation containing the endoglucanase PPCE; and a method for the treatment of a cellulose-containing fiber utilizing the endoglucanase PPCE or the cellulase preparation. The endoglucanase PPCE is highly active to a fiber, and has a low optimal temperature and a strongly acidic optimal pH.
L'invention porte sur : une nouvelle PPCE endoglucanase qui est issue de Penicillium pinophilum ; sur une préparation de cellulase contenant la PPCE endoglucanase ; et sur un procédé pour le traitement d'une fibre contenant de la cellulose utilisant la PPCE endoglucanase ou la préparation de cellulase. La PPCE endoglucanase a une activité élevée sur une fibre, et possède une température optimale faible et un pH optimal fortement acide.
