31,779-00 ENDOSCOPIC ANASTOMOSIS RING INSERTION DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An endoscopic insertion device for inserting an anastomosis ring having two unitary members in an anatomic tubular body organ comprises an anastomosis ring adapter for mounting the unitary members in an engaging position, an inserter for inserting the ring adapter in the tubular body organ, and an actuator for actuating the adapter to close the anastomosis ring. The anastomosis ring is closed to clamp together open ends of the tubular body organ and then the ring adapter is released from the closed anastomosis ring.
