ABSTRACT ENERGY ABSORBING DEVICE An energy absorption device of elastomeric material is disclosed which is particularly adapted for marine use. The device has an overall configuration resembling that of a cylinder and includes a central bore extending axially throughout its length and a plurality of additional bores extending axially throughout its length. The additional bores are symmetrically arranged around and between the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the device.
