An energy saving control system includes a power switching circuit (20), a current sensing circuit (40) and a control circuit (60). The power switching circuit (20) and current sensing circuit (40) produce different voltages and measured current signals respectively. The control circuit (60) outputs a control signal in res ponse to an increase in current demand by the load (200).
