An engine fuel line flow control mechanism utilizing a valve (10) located within a fuel line (14). The valve (10) includes a seat (34) and a movable seal (36) which is capable of regulating the flow of fuel through the fuel line (14). An actuator (52) is linked to the valve and may include a piston (58) found within a chamber (56) which is connected to the seal (36) of the valve. The piston is also connected to an engine manifold pressure conduit (74) such that the piston moves in response to change in manifold pressure of the engine (112).

La soupape (10) comporte un siège (34) et un joint d'étanchéité mobile (36) pouvant réguler le débit de carburant dans la conduite de carburant (14). Un actionneur (52) est relié à la soupape et peut comporter un piston (58) situé dans une chambre (56) reliée au joint (36) de la soupape. Le piston est également relié à une conduite (74) soumettant le piston à la pression d'admission du moteur de sorte qu'il se déplace en réponse aux variations de la pression d'admission du moteur (112).
