An engine ignition timing tool for use with a strobe timing light in setting the timing of Harley-Davidson motorcycle engines, including a modified circuit breaker cam bolt having a pointer indicator and degree scale plate attachable to the gear cover. The tool is installed and the engine timing adjusted with the circuit breaker cover removed so that the pointer may be observed with a strobe light and the timing adjusted with the engine running.
