An engine mounted cooling system (10) is disclosed which permits the radiator (12) of a vehicle to be mounted directly to the engine (14), preferably through the front engine mount (26) of the engine. The radiator is mounted through isolators (54, 60) to reduce vibration transferred to the radiator. The mounting of the radiator to the engine provides for reduction of relative movement between the engine and the fan shroud and fan. It also reduces the number of fan shroud configurations and eliminates the need for any fan spacers. It also facilitates the assembly of the vehicle as the radiator can be mounted to the engine exterior of the vehicle and then the radiator engine installed in the vehicle as an integral unit.
