ENGINE STAND WITH LIFTING ATTACHMENT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Engine stands are usually not adjustable in height to suit working conditions and a separate lift or hoist is required to remove and replace an engine from or into a vehicle. The present device includes an engine stand in which the engine height is adjustable and which includes means to rotate the engine axially around a horizontal axis in order to provide access to any part of the engine during overhaul. A lifting attachment may also be provided which not only lifts the engine from the vehicle chassis and replaces same but can move the engine in position to be attached to the engine stand and removed therefrom when work is completed. The entire stand and hoist is wheel-mounted so that the engine can be moved from the vehicle to a work area and then return- ed to the vehicle and lowered into position.
