An automobile timing device for use with internal combustion engines this simplified timing device is clamped onto the upper part of the engine and as the loosen distributor is rotated to a point whereby the engine is operating roughly and the vibration of the engine causes the liquid within the vial to move rapidly about, while observing the liquid within the vial the distributor of the engine is then slowly turned in the opposite direction up to a point where the liquid within the vial is at it's smoothest level between the two reference lines with this accomplished the distributor of the engine is tighten in place.
