A polyolefin blend including a propylene-based polyolefin-metal salt that is a reaction product of a propylene-containing polymer and a first organic monomer including a hydrophilic moiety that is at least partially neutalized with a metal ion, and an ethylene-based polyolefin-metal salt that is a reaction product of an ethylene-containing polymer and a second organic monomer including a hydrophilic moiety that is at least partially neutalized with a metal ion. Optionally, the blend includes a copolymer of ethylene and an alpha- olefin, and optionally one or more diene(s); a thermoplastic elastomer, such as an olefinic copolymer with styrene; a copolymer of ethylene, at least one alpha-olefin, and/or a monomer with a hydrophilic moiety. Also included are methods of preparing such blends, as well as the resultant articles.
L'invention concerne un mélange de polyoléfines contenant un sel métallique polyoléfinique à base de propylène constituant le produit de réaction d'un polymère contenant du propylène et d'un premier monomère organique comprenant un groupe fonctionnel hydrophile au moins partiellement neutralisé au moyen d'un ion métallique, ainsi qu'un sel métallique polyoléfinique à base d'éthylène constituant le produit de réaction d'un polymère contenant de l'éthylène et d'un deuxième monomère organique comprenant un groupe fonctionnel hydrophile au moins partiellement neutralisé au moyen d'un ion métallique. Ledit mélange peut facultativement contenir un copolymère d'éthylène et une alpha-oléfine, et facultativement au moins un diène; un élastomère thermoplastique, tel qu'un copolymère oléfinique contenant un styrène; un copolymère d'éthylène, au moins une alpha-oléfine, et/ou un monomère contenant un groupe fonctionnel hydrophile. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation desdits mélanges, ainsi que les articles résultants.
