A novel efficacious and less irritant aluminum-zirconium antiperspirant composition is provided by the addition of a small amount of AlCl3 and/or HCl to the activated aluminum component. After the heating of diluted basic aluminum chlorohydrate solution, cooling to room temperature, mixing with small amount of AlCl3 or HCl and then reacting with zirconium glycine complex, an aluminum-zirconium salt is produced with a maximum amount of depolymerization aluminum and zirconium species. The addition of a small amount of AlCl3 or HCl to the diluted and activated aluminum chlorohydrate solution accelerates the depolymerization of the activated ACH solution, and upon the addition of zirconium glycinate the solution is further depolymerized and results in the formation of less polymerized zirconium species.
L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition antitranspirante aluminium-zirconium, efficace et moins irritante, obtenue par addition d'une petite quantité d'AlCl3 et/ou d'HCl au composant aluminium activé. Après chauffage de la solution basique de chlorhydrate d'aluminium diluée, refroidissement à température ambiante, mélange avec de petites quantités d'AlCl3 ou d'HCl, puis réaction avec un complexe de zirconium-glycine, on obtient un sel d'aluminium-zirconium avec une quantité maximale de variétés aluminium et zirconium de dépolymérisation. L'addition d'une petite quantité d'AlCl3 ou d'HCl à la solution de chlorhydrate d'aluminium diluée et activée, accélère la dépolymérisation de la solution d'ACH activée et, par addition de glycinate de zirconium, la solution est encore plus dépolymérisée et conduit à la formation de moins de variétés polymérisées de zirconium.
