Embodiments of the present invention relate to a membrane assembly useful in an electrodeposition coating system and a method for constructing such a membrane assembly. The membrane assembly may include a membrane sheet, a guide and a frame. In an embodiment of the invention, the membrane assembly may be formed in a tubular shape by ultrasonically welding a membrane sheet along a spiral seam and placing the membrane sheet between a guide and frame formed form extruded net tubing. Alternative embodiments of the invention may incorporate different seam shapes and manufacturing and joining methods.
L'invention concerne un ensemble membrane utilisé dans un système de revêtement par électrodéposition, et un procédé permettant de fabriquer ledit ensemble membrane. Cet ensemble membrane peut comprendre une feuille membrane, un guidage, et un cadre. Selon un mode de réalisation, cet ensemble membrane peut être formé selon une forme tubulaire par soudage aux ultrasons de la feuille membrane le long d'un joint hélicoïdal, et par placement de ladite feuille de membrane entre le guidage et le cadre formé à partir d'un tube extrudé en treillis. Selon des modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne différentes formes de joint ainsi que des procédés de fabrication et de liaison.
