ENHANCED FREQUENCY DETERMINATION FOR SPECTRUM ANALYZERS OR THE LIKE Abstract of the Disclosure An arrangement is provided for enhancing the accuracy of frequency determination in a spectrum analyzer or the like having a local oscillator heterodyned with and locked to a frequency comb, by providing a determination of whether the local oscillator frequency is above or below the comb frequency to which it is locked, thereby avoiding ambiguity in the determination of the local oscillator frequency.
