ABSTRACT Disclosed is a interacting hard magnetic material. The material consists essentially of a solid mass or assembly of crystallites. Each crystallite has an easy axis of magnetization, e.g., to allow for magnetic orientation within the crystallite. Each of these crystallites are crystallographically non-oriented with adjacent crystallites, which they meet at grain boundaries. The grain boundaries are narrow enough to allow ferromagnetic interaction between adjacent crystallites.
