The present invention relates to an agent for enhancing and stabilizing the activity of Bifidus factor, containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid, hyposulfurous acid and acetic anhydride as the effective ingredient, and by preparing the agent singly or in combination with Bifidus factor as a food and drink type or as a composition of pharmaceutical type, intestinal microflora can be amelio-rated. The agent can be used as a selective medium for assaying the number of bifidobacteria.
L'invention porte sur un agent pour améliorer et stabiliser l'activité du facteur Bifidus, renfermant au moins un constituant choisi parmi l'acide ascorbique, l'acide hyposulfureux et l'anhydride acétique, comme ingrédient actif; l'agent est préparé seul ou en combinaison avec le facteur Bifidus sous forme d'aliment ou de boisson, ou encore comme composition de type pharmaceutique; amélioration de la microflore intestinale. L'agent peut servir comme milieu sélectif pour déterminer le nombre de bactéries bifidus.
