Abstract The invention relates to new enol ethers of 6- chloro-4-hydroxy-2-methyl-N-(2-pyridyl)-2H-thieno(2,3-e)- 1,2-thiazine-3-carboxamide 1,1-dioxide of the formula Image in which R denotes (C1-C6)-alkyl, (C5-C7)-cycloalkyl or benzyl, and a process for their preparation. The new compounds have an antiinflammatory activity and are suit- able for the treatment of rheumatism.
