10 ABSTRACT: An enriched nutritious food product having a main component comprising a powder or an essence of soft-shelled turtles is made by cleaning living soft-shelled turtles; instantaneously freezing the living cleaned soft-shelled turtles; crushing the frozen soft-shelled turtles into a powder; and mixing a component of crude drug ( herb ) with the powder of soft-shelled turtles or with an essence provided by further refining and filtering the powder. The powder of soft-shelled turtles can also be enclosed in gelatine capsules, having been admixed with wheat germ oil.
