A system for ensuring the authenticity, integrity, and originality of digital files, and subsequent data extractions from those digital files is disclosed. The system comprises: (a) a data sensor device for providing a source digital data; (b) a server control and storage device for controlling the data sensor device, collecting the source digital data, storing the source digital data, and providing a platform for processing and managing the source digital data; (c) a PKI smart card or token device as a cryptographic means; (d) a biometric secure access device for providing further assurance of a user identity; (e) a data extraction/analysis and export device; and (f) a data transfer device. A method of ensuring the authenticity, integrity, and originality of digital files, and subsequent data extractions from those digital files is also disclosed.
