A portable electronic device has an interface for connecting it to a parent machine that has the function of executing programs. The portable electronic device further including a program storage unit, a control unit that controls execution of the programs, a display that displays information according to the executed programs, an operation input unit for operating the programs, and a power supply unit that supplies power to each of those units. Information accompanying the execution of a calculator program is transferred from the parent machine to the portable electronic device, and it executes a calculator program stored in the program storage unit by the control unit based on the transferred information.
L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique portatif comprenant une interface, qui permet de le connecter à une machine mère chargée d'exécuter les programmes; une unité de stockage de programmes; une unité de commande, qui commande l'exécution des programmes; un afficheur, qui affiche les informations en fonction des programmes exécutés; une unité d'entrée des opérations, qui permet d'entrer les opérations des programmes; et une unité d'alimentation, qui fournit de l'énergie auxdites unités. Les informations accompagnant l'exécution d'un programme de calculatrice sont transférées de la machine mère au dispositif électronique portatif et, sur la base des informations transférées, assurent l'exécution dudit programme mis en mémoire dans l'unité de stockage de programmes.
