ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Perforated lines are provided transversely in an envelope, at a short distance from one end thereof. The perforated lines are formed on both faces of the envelope and exactly opposite one another. Between the end of the envelope and the perforated lines there is a strip of adhesive running parallel to the perforated lines and closing the inner faces together to prevent any damage or defacing of the contents of the envelope when opening the latter.
