ABSTRACT of the DISCLOSURE A hand-held fluid applicator principally for applying liquid adhesive or adhesive emulsifiers such as water to moisten the water soluble seal on paper envelopes or postage stamps. The device comprises a resealable applicator tip fixedly enclosed within a pan-like barrel. The invention further comprises an absorbent within the barrel cavity which is accessible for refilling or remoistening by removing a resealable, leak-proof cap. -1-
