ENVELOPE SEALER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An envelope sealing device for automatic high- speed sealing of envelope flaps includes an area nip region formed between the periphery of a revolving drum and a moving endless resilient belt partly encircling the drum to engage envelopes seriatim fed thereto and to press flaps down and seal flaps while the envelope is conveyed by the nip about a portion of the drum to a delivery area. The device can additionally serve to turn over envelopes while the envelopes are being sealed and conveyed through the nip region.
