ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A TRACK LAYING TRACTOR Abstract of the Disclosure The cab of a track laying tractor is provided with an environmental control system including inlet ductwork located so as to be directly behind an operator's seat in the cab and de- fined in part by the backwall of the cab and including a fresh air inlet located in the rearwall of the cab and a recirculation air inlet located inside the cab adjacent the rearwall thereof. Fresh air and recirculating air filters and heater and evaporator cores are located in the inlet ductwork directly behind the oper- ator's seat. A pair of fans are respectively located in control consoles provided on each side of the seat and are connected to the inlet ductwork for drawing air in through the filters and heater and evaporator cores and are connected to force air out through conditioned air outlets in the top of the control con- soles.
