A device for environmental protection of an electrical component on a mount, e.g. a circuit board, comprises: a first housing part; a second housing part which together with the first housing part provides a substantially closed housing; a mount (e.g. a circuit board) for an electrical component that may be movably secured with respect to the first housing part; and a sealing material positioned between the mount and a surface of the first housing part; such that the mount can be moved with respect to the first housing part to put the sealing material under compression. The device may comprise a maintenance termination unit for a telecommunications network.
Un dispositif destiné à protéger de l'environnement un composant électrique placé sur un support, par exemple, une plaquette de circuits imprimés, comprend : un premier élément de boîtier; un second élément de boîtier qui, ensemble avec le premier élément de boîtier, forme un boîtier sensiblement fermé; un support (par exemple une plaquette de circuits imprimés) pour un composant électrique qui doit être fixé de façon détachable par rapport au premier élément de boîtier; ainsi qu'un matériau de scellement placé entre le support et une surface du premier élément de boîtier; de manière qu'on puisse déplacer le support par rapport au premier élément de boîtier pour mettre le matériau de scellement sous compression. Le dispositif peut comprendre une unité de terminaison de maintenance pour un réseau de télécommunications.
