The invention relates to a defrosting or antifreeze agent which is water or glycol-based, containing at least 0.01 to 1% wt of at least one alkali metal salt of polyaspartic or polyglutamic acids or a mixture thereof, having a total molecular weight of 5000 to 50 000 g/mole. The invention also relates to the use of alkali metal salts of polyaspartic or polyglutamic acids, or a mixture thereof, having a total molecular weight of between 5000 and 50 000 g/mole, in proportions of 0.01 to 1 wt % in relation to the defrosting or anti-freeze agent, as a flame-retarding agent in defrosting and anti-freeze agents for aeroplanes

L'invention concerne un agent de dégivrage ou antigivrage à base de glycols et d'eau, contenant de 0,01 à 1 % en poids d'au moins un sel de métaux alcalins de l'acide polyaspartique ou de l'acide polyglutamique ou d'un mélange de ces derniers, présentant un poids moléculaire compris entre 5000 à 50 000 g/mole.
