The invention relates to an environmentally-friendly disposable absorbent article, in which at least half of the constituent materials used contain biodegradable compounds and/or compounds of natural origin. Consequently, the invention relates to: the use of a non-woven fabric containing cotton as the upper layer of the article; the use of a non-woven fabric containing polylactic acid (PLA) or polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) as the upper layer of the article; the use of a non-woven fabric containing a pro-degradative agent as the upper layer of the article; the use of an impermeable film containing polylactic acid (PLA) or polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) as the lower layer of the article; the use of a polyethylene containing a pro-degradative agent as the lower layer of the article; the use of a laminate of a polyethylene containing PLA, PHA or a pro-degradative agent, and (i) a non-woven fabric containing cotton, (ii) a non-woven fabric containing PLA or PHA or (iii) a non-woven fabric containing a pro-degradative agent, as the lower layer of the article; the use of a mixture containing at least 20% biodegradable particles and/or particles of natural origin as the superabsorbent material of the article; the use of a bonding system containing PLA or PHA; the use of a bonding system containing a pro-degradative agent; the use of films containing PHA, PLA or a pro-degradative agent for the anti-runoff barriers and/or as transfer layers or casings; the use of adhesives containing PHA or PLA; and the use of elastic or elastomer materials containing PLA, PHA or a pro-degradative agent.
Se describe un artículo absorbente desechable amigable con el medio ambiente, en el cual al menos Ia mitad de los materiales utilizados para su fabricación contiene compuestos de origen natural y/o biodegradables; como consecuencia del uso de tales materiales, Ia presente invención describe: -Ia utilización, como capa superior del artículo, de una tela no tejida conteniendo algodón; -Ia utilización, como capa superior del artículo, de una tela no tejida conteniendo ácido poliláctico (PLÁ) o polihidroxi-alcanoatos (PHA); -Ia utilización, como capa superior del artículo, de una tela no tejida conteniendo un pro-degradante; -Ia utilización, como capa inferior del artículo, de una película impermeable conteniendo ácido poliláctico (PLA) o poli-hidroxi-alcanoatos (PHA); -Ia utilización, como capa inferior del artículo, de un polietileno conteniendo un pro-degradante; -Ia utilización como capa inferior del artículo, de un laminado de un polietileno conteniendo PLA, PHA o un prodegradante; y i) una tela no tejida conteniendo algodón; ii) una tela no tejida conteniendo PLA o PHA, o iii) una tela no tejida conteniendo un pro-degradante; -Ia utilización como material superabsorbente del artículo de una mezcla conteniendo al menos un 20% de partículas de origen natural y/o biodegradables; -Ia utilización de un sistema de sujeción conteniendo, PLA o PHA; -Ia utilización de un sistema de sujeción conteniendo un pro- degradante; -Ia utilización de películas conteniendo PHA PLA o un pro- degradante para las barreras antiescurrimientos y/o como capas de transferencia o envolventes; -Ia utilización de adhesivos conteniendo PHA o PLA; -Ia utilización de materiales elásticos o elastoméricos conteniendo PLA, PHA o un pro-degradante.
