A method of washing laundry, the method comprising washing laundry in an aqueous medium with two separate compositions: a laundry detergent composition comprising from about 1% to about 80% of an alkoxylated ester surfactant and a rinse aid composition comprising from about 0.001% to about 100% of a carboxylic ester hydrolase enzyme, to result in the substantial reduction of foaming. Laundry kits based on the two compositions are also described.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de lavage du linge, ledit procédé impliquant le lavage du linge dans un milieu aqueux à l~aide de deux compositions séparées : une composition de détergent pour la lessive, comprenant de 1 % environ à 80 % environ d~un agent tensioactif à base d~ester alcoxylé et une composition de produit de rinçage comprenant de 0,001 % environ à 100 % environ d~une enzyme hydrolase d~ester carboxylique, afin de générer la réduction substantielle de la formation de mousse. L~invention concerne également des kits de lavage du linge reposant sur les deux compositions.
