In the course of my work I needed to wear a particle mask, safety glasses and a hat to protect my self from the airborne particles in the environment. These three items did not however provide protection at the level needed and contamination of myself and cross- contamination of the work occurred as the areas of skin and hair not covered by the available tolls were still exposed. This product in both the repeat wear and disposable version addresses this problem and provides complete coverage of the head and neck area, providing a barrier to airborne particles of micro size diminishes cross-contamination. This device is constructed of a pre fabricated cap of cotton or paper, with a front brim and an adjustable band closure into which the screening of 50-160 micron pore clear plastic or organic fabric mesh is sewn. This is hung to a length and pitch sufficient to tuck into the collar and cover the neck of the wearer. The device is ergonomically designed.
