Abstract of the Disclosure The invention pertains to detergent compositions which comprise a peroxy-type bleaching agent, other than an alkali metal percarbonate, and enzymes. By inclusion of an alkali metal metaborate in such compositions, pre- ferably affixed to the surface of the particulate peroxy-type bleaching agent, the storage stability of the enzymes in the compositions is significantly im- proved.
