A thimerosal-free hyaluronidase preparation wherein the preferred hyaluronidase enzyme is devoid of molecular weight fractions below 40,000 MW, between 60-70,000 MW and above 100,000 MW. Also disclosed is a method for accelerating the clearance of hemorrhagic blood from the vitreous humor of the eye, said method comprising the step of contacting at least one hemorrhage-clearing enzyme (e.g., .alpha..beta.-glucuronidase, matrix metalloproteinase, chondroitinase, chondroitin sulfatase or protein kinase) with the vitreous humor in an amount which is effective to cause accelerated clearance of blood therefrom.
L'invention concerne une préparation à l'hyalurodinase exempte de thimérosal, dans laquelle l'enzyme hyalurodinase préférée ne contient pas de fractions de masse molaire inférieure à 40 000 MW, comprise entre 60 à 70 000 MW et supérieure à 100 000 MW. Elle porte aussi sur une méthode d'augmentation de la clairance du sang de l'hémorragie de l'humeur vitrée, qui consiste à mettre au moins une enzyme de clairance d'hémorragie (par exemple beta -glucuronidase, métalloprotéinase matricielle, chondroïtinase, chondroïtine sulfatase ou protéine kinase) avec l'humeur vitrée, en quantité efficace pour entraîner la clairance accélérée du sang de celle-ci.
