The present invention provides methods and composition for preparing 4- substituted 3-hydroxybutyric acid derivatives by halohydrin dehalogenase- catalyzed conversion of 4-halo-3-hydroxybutyric acid derivatives. The present invention further provides methods and compositions for preparing 4-halo-3- hydroxybutyric acid derivatives by ketoreductase-catalyzed conversion of 4- halo-3ketobutyric acid derivatives. The present invention also provides methods and compositions for preparing vicinal cyano, hydroxyl substituted carboxylic acid esters.
L'invention concerne des procédés et des compostions utilisés pour préparer des dérivés d'acide 3-hydroxybutyrique 4-substitué, par conversion catalysée par halogénhydrine déshalogénase de dérivés d'acide 4-halo-3-hydroxybutrique. Ladite invention concerne en outre des procédés et des compositions utilisées pour préparer des dérivés d'acide 4-halo-3-hydroxybutyrique par conversion catalysée par cétoréductase de dérivés d'acide 4-halo-3-cétobutyrique. Ladite invention concerne également des procédés et des compositions permettant de préparer des esters d'acide carboxylique substitué par cyano vicinal, par hydroxyle.
