Abstract of the Disclosure A process for preparing an enzyme carrier in which inorganic primary particles are granulated using an organic hinder having reactive functional groups to form a macropermeable, round agglomerate having mulberry-type substructure. The shape and structure of the agglomerate is stabilized by reacting the organic binder with an organic hardener which reacts with the functional groups of the binder. The resulting enzyme carriers prepared according to the invention are particularly suitable for immobilizing glucose isomerase.
