Abstract of the Disclosure An epilator system comprising the combination of an electric apparatus for applying a regulated voltage to a region of a hair and a wetting solution with ionic properties. For hair removal, the wetting solution with ionic properties is applied to the hair down into the follicle to the papilla and preferably a high-frequency voltage lower than used in conventional epilators is then applied to the wetted hair.
