Existing electronic hair removal machines have a built-in tester that allows one to easily test the continuity of the central wire of the needle holder cable. However, existing testers on these machines cannot test the continuity of the shielding of the needle holder cable. When the shielding in these cables has a break in continuity, the esthetician using the machine might mistakenly judge that the entire machine is defective rather than just the cable. The invented tester allows one to quickly test the continuity of the cable's central wire and the shielding simultaneously, to show that only the needle holder cable is defective and not the entire machine. The esthetician can then confidently replace only the cable, rather than sending the entire machine for costly repairs.
