Disclosed is a thermally expandable and curable material containing: a) at least one epoxide prepolymer; b) at least one heat-activated curing agent for the prepolymer; c) at least one foaming agent; and d) at least one thermoplastic, non-reactive polyurethane selected from among polyurethanes containing a polyester chain. Also disclosed are the use of such a material for stiffening or reinforcing components as well as an extruded or injection- molded article made of such a material.
L'invention concerne une masse thermoexpansible et thermodurcissable contenant : a) au moins un prépolymère époxy, b) au moins un durcisseur à activation thermique pour le prépolymère, c) au moins un agent d'expansion, d) au moins un polyuréthane thermoplastique non réactif choisi parmi les polyuréthanes contenant une chaîne polyester. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de cette masse pour rigidifier ou renforcer des composants, ainsi que des corps extrudés ou moulés par injection composés d'une masse de ce type.
