The present invention provides a toughened cycloaliphatic epoxy resin composition comprising (a) a curable aromatic or cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, (b) a monohydroxylated epoxidized polydiene polymer which comprises at least two polymerizable ethenically unsaturated hydrocarbon monomers wherein at least one is a diene monomer which yields unsaturation suitable for epoxidation, and wherein the polymer contains from 0.5 to 7 milliequivalents of epoxy per gram of polymer, and (c) a curing agent.
On décrit une composition de résine époxy cycloaliphatique durcie comprenant: (a) une résine époxy durcissable, aromatique ou cycloaliphatique; (b) un polymère de polydiène epoxydé monohydroxylé comportant au moins deux monomères polymérisables d'hydrocarbures éthyléniquement insaturés, dont l'un au moins est un monomère de diène donnant une insaturation appropriée à l'époxydation, le polymère contenant de 0,5 à 7 milliéquivalents d'époxy par gramme de polymère; ainsi que (c) un agent de durcissement.
