EPOXY CONTAINING IMPACT MODIFIERS FOR THERMOPLASTIC RESINS ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Disclosed is a modifier and a method for producing a modifier for improving the impact and knitline strength of thermoplastic resins in which it is dispersed, comprising the product of a reaction in bulk at elevated temperature in the molten state of an elastomeric backbone polymer such as EPM and/or EPDM in the presence of a peroxide catalyst with a free radical polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an epoxy functionality.
