EPOXY RESIN-AMINE SALT EMULSION COMPOSITION ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A unitary epoxy resin-amine salt emulsion composition has been developed in which the amine salt functions as both an emulsifying agent and a latent curing agent for the epoxy resin emulsion. This composition is used in combination with hydraulic cement which activates the amine salt to cure the composition. The epoxy resin-amine salt emulsion composition is stable when subjected to both freezing and elevated (120°F) temperatures, and when combined with cement, it provides improved tensile and compressive strength compared to commercially available epoxy resin-cement systems.
