ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An epoxy resin coating composition comprising a rubber-modified epoxy resin which is obtained by reacting an epoxy resin with a carboxyl group- containing butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber, a phenoxy resin, a metal powder, a curing component, and an organic solvent. This composition is especially useful as a coating for fuel tanks, particularly, gasohol fuel tanks. The cured coating from the composition has excellent properties of heat resistance, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, flexibility and weldability.
