EM/K-18997/A Epoxy resins based on triglycidyl isocyanurate Abstract of the Disclosure Formulations comprising (a) one or more than one polyglycidyl compound of formulae (I), (II) or (III) (I), (II), Image (III), wherein X is a direct bond, -CH2-, -C(CH3)2-, -O-, -CO- or -SO2-, Y is the m-valent radical of a saturated C1-C3hydrocarbon, n and p are each independently of the other an integer from 1 to 6, m is an integer from 2 to 6, and in formulae (I), (II) and (III) the aromatic rings are unsubstituted or substituted by one or more than one C1-C6alkyl group or halogen atom, (b) an aromatic di- or trihydroxy compound and (c) 1-30 % by weight, based on the total composition, of triglycidyl isocyanurate, are suitable for the production of prepregs and laminates with high glass transition temperature and good bonding to copper.
