ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Elastomers of the ethylene-propylene-termonomer type. In accordance with the invention these elastomers have a bimodal distribution of the molecular weights, each principal fraction having, on the one hand, a wide distribution of the molecular weights and a monomer composition which is different from that of the other principal fraction, but, on the other hand, a distribution of composition as a function of the molecular weights which is very narrow around the average value contemplated for the fraction.
