Front and rear leg wraps for applying cold or heat compressive therapy to the legs of a horse are provided. Each includes a series of horizontally extending pockets along the length of the wrap. The pockets are fitted with bags containing a refrigerant. The quantity of refrigerant contained in the bags can be varied to control the amount of cold or heat therapy applied. The front and rear leg wraps include gussets to permit the wraps to closely conform to the complex anatomy of the horse's legs.
