Equipment at a lift cage for temporarily coupling a cage door leaf with a shaft door leaf and for actuating a cage door locking means comprises a coupling mechanism, which is arranged at the cage door leaf (5), with two entraining runners (15.1, 15.2) mounted on two pivotable adjusting elements (17.1, 17.2). The spacing between the entraining runners can be adjusted by pivotation of the adjusting elements between an uncoupling setting and a coupling setting, wherein the entraining runners in coupling setting cooperate with at least one coupling element (18) mounted at the shaft door leaf. One of the entraining runners (15.1) is coupled by way of a respective articulation member (20.1, 20.2) with one arm of each of the two adjusting elements (17.1, 17.2), wherein the adjusting elements, the articulation members and this entraining runner (15.1) are so constructed and arranged that in consequence of a contact force (F) arising between this entraining runner and the corresponding coupling element (18) in the coupling setting this entraining runner (15.1) executes an additional movement which is guided by the articulation members (20.1, 20.2) and which causes unlocking of the cage door lock (25).
