Abstract An equipment box for a power converter arrangement comprises a rear wall (1) having cooling ribs (2), base, top and side walls (24, 37, 38) as well as at least one conductor plate (51,52) arranged on a carrier (46) which can preferably be pivoted like a door. The side walls (24) are pivoted to the rear wall (1) by way of hinges (26). The hinges are each formed by a vertical groove (27) at the rear wall (1) and a rib (29) at the side wall (24) engaged therein. At least one horizontally extending retaining wall (11, 12, 37, 38) connected to the rear wall (1) helps to locate the position of the two side walls. Such an equipment box can be easily assembled from few individual components. Fig. 2.
