The quickly erectable canopy shelters include a plurality of legs connected together by an extendible perimeter assembly of link members. The roof structure is formed by a pole members pivotally mounted to the upper ends of the legs so as to extend across the shelter, and movable between a lowered position and a raised, upwardly arching position. The pole members are pivotally coupled to a central hub, and each of the pole members is formed of pole sections hinged to permit downward folding and upward unfolding until they are fully extended. Corner support strut members are pivotally mounted to the extendible perimeter assembly of link members adjacent to the legs, to support the pole members. The outer ends of the pole members are pivotally connected to the upper ends of the legs by pivoting link members that pivot between a lowered position and a raised position extending above the legs when the shelter is extended. In the raised position the pivoting link members rotate outwardly to absorb downward forces exerted on the roof structure and transmitted outwardly by the pole members.
L'invention concerne des abris rapidement déployables comprenant une pluralité de jambes reliées entre elles par un ensemble périphérique extensible d'éléments de liaison. La structure de toit est formée par des poteaux montés pivotants sur les extrémités supérieures des jambes de façon qu'elle recouvre tout l'abri et qu'elle puisse passer d'une position abaissée à une position dressée et voûtée vers le haut. Les poteaux sont couplés pivotants à une partie centrale et chacun des poteaux est constitué de sections articulées qui permettent un repliage vers le bas et un dépliage vers le haut jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient complètement déployés. Des entretoises cornières de soutien sont montées pivotantes à l'ensemble périphérique extensible d'éléments de liaison adjacents aux jambes afin de supporter les poteaux. Les extrémités extérieures des poteaux sont reliées pivotantes aux extrémités supérieures des jambes par des éléments de liaison qui pivotent entre une position abaissée et une position dressée déployée au-dessus des jambes lorsque l'abri est déployé. Dans la position dressée, les éléments de liaison pivotants se tournent vers l'extérieur afin d'absorber les forces descendantes exercées sur la structure de toit et transmises vers l'extérieur par les poteaux.
